      Designer and creative consultant working across fashion,
      knitwear, and high jewelry — with a practice shaped equally
      by technical rigour and cultural imagination.
    

      My career has moved through some of New York's most demanding
      creative environments. At Thom Browne, I contributed
      fully fashioned knitwear development for collections valued
      over $1M per season — coordinating with manufacturing partners
      across Italy, the UK, and Ireland, and contributing runway
      pieces to New York Fashion Week and the Paris Couture Show.
      At Lorraine Schwartz, I work on custom and
      celebrity jewelry projects within one of New York's most private
      fine jewelry ateliers, while co-leading the rebuild of its
      operational inventory system from the ground up.
    

      I hold an MFA from Parsons School of Design
      (Departmental Honours), and have returned each semester since
      2022 as a Guest Critic — working alongside MFA candidates on
      thesis development, design process, and how to present work
      with conviction. I hold dual O-1A Extraordinary
      Ability visas: self-petitioned, and independently
      sponsored by Thom Browne upon promotion.
    

      Currently based between New York and Taipei, I advise emerging
      designers and brands on portfolio development, graduate school
      applications, and international career strategy.
    

      Trained in Shima Seiki engineering at Fu Jen Catholic University.
      Recipient of Taiwan's Ministry of Culture Overseas Elite Training
      Scholarship — ranked 1st nationally. Co-creator of
      《尋找她的狼》In Search of Her Wolf (2024), acquired by
      Eslite Gallery, Taipei.

    "&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp;I once heard an English song about a cunning wolf disguised as a sheep constantly whispering smooth, deceptive words to Little Red Riding Hood. The wolf says things like, “Little Red Riding Hood, you sure are lookin’ good. You’re everything that a big bad wolf could want. So, until you get to grandma’s place, I think you ought to walk with me and be safe” Or something like “What a big heart I have, the better to love you with. I’m gonna keep my sheep suit on until I’m sure that you’ve been shown. Even bad wolves can be good”... All the overly flattering and manipulative words twist an innocent fairy tale into a tale of deceit. 

&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp;Ever since I read the story of Little Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf, I’ve found myself questioning Little Red’s decisions more than once. Even after her grandmother’s warning about the dangerous wolf lurking in the woods, she still chooses to venture into the forest. Isn’t that kind of foolish? Mischievous? She even insists on wearing a conspicuous bright red cloak, as if trying to stand out in the treacherous forest.

&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp;In response to the many loopholes in this story, I created a painting in 2014 titled Temptation for the little red. In the piece, Little Red, cloaked in red and standing in the shadows, is drawn toward the light cascading down a distant staircase. Doesn’t it resemble situations we often face in real life? Curiosity about the unknown and hesitation in the face of uncertainty can make even a mysterious light source irresistibly captivating, even overwhelmingly tempting.

&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp;Yet, the symbolism in fairy tales goes far beyond surface-level interpretations. As we grow older, we either explore our inner selves, persistently uncovering the darkness we’ve concealed beneath layers, or we expand and evolve, adding complexity to our being.

&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp;A decade later, Little Red’s story takes on a new form. This could be the next chapter of her life, or perhaps a new realm for many of the Little Reds like her—shedding the modest red cloak and putting on a more extravagant, exaggerated version, as they finally ascend to a higher stage.

&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp;Why? To find her wolf.

&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp;Why her wolf? Because it is her curiosity, her temptation, her fear, and most importantly, the allure of the unknown that draws her into exploration."

    Situated Knowledge

    My concept starts from the research of 'Post-Human' and focuses on 'situated knowledge' — the idea that different perspectives produce different definitions, and that absolute, universal knowledge is impossible. The term arises from social constructionism, radical feminism, and postmodernism.
  

    Starting from this framework, I began to explore the boundary between human and object, reality and virtuality — and what it means to design from a position rather than from nowhere.

    A project rooted in family heritage, personal history, and the tension between cultural identity and displacement. Through interviews with family members, the work traces how habit, desire, and philosophy are shaped by an immigrant background — and by literature passed down through generations.
  

    Using SketchUp for structural modelling before translating forms into pattern, the process itself became a way of inheriting — drawing on a skill set learned from my father to ask how an immigrant can be part of a new environment while holding onto who they already are.

    2021 &#38;nbsp;·&#38;nbsp; Parsons MFA Fashion Design &#38;amp; Society &#38;nbsp;·&#38;nbsp; Design Studio 1
  

    A collaborative design project centred on amplifying the voice of the Autistic community. Working with designers Lilas Ferdi and Marlene Haase, and guided by Creative Director Paige Hennekam, the project explored cognitive disability — specifically Autism — through the lens of authority, shape, and colour.
  

    As part of the process, the team created an Instagram platform @societyscube to unpack presumptions around Autism and document Paige's relationship to the visual language of the project.

Mixed Media, 100 × 100 × 200 cm
  

    An exploration of the relationship between daily environments and mental space. Soft sculptures made from balloons serve as a metaphor for how the physical and psychological bleed into each other — how the random objects left and piled in an alley can, over time, become a mental extension of personal space.
  

    The alley — overlooked, in-between, neither public nor private — becomes a site where the boundary between outer environment and inner world dissolves.

    A collection rooted in nomadism — not as a romanticised state, but as the condition of undergoing. Linen mimics the layered texture of sedimentary rock, standing in for the accumulation of time. Specially processed polyester creates a reflexive, flickering surface — the fickleness and vicissitudes of a life in motion.
  

    In certain pieces, translucent fabric introduces a sense of nothingness — drawing on the idea, present in several cultures, that "nothing" is what lasts forever.
