infoIn the past few years of my creative journey, my work reflects my life. In each life stage, I contemplated the relationship between the other and me, reflecting the relationship between environment and me, reflecting the relationship between other and environment. In each stage, creating is like driftwood, creating breathing space, and it allowed me to clarify the understanding of life.

The concept for this collection is nomadism, and with the concept, I wish to emphasize the significance of the idea of undergoing. In the collection, I use linen as material to mimic the texture of sedimentary rocks, which symbolize the accumulation of time; and with the use of specially processed polyester, I intend a reflexive surface to create the flickering effect, which symbolizes the fickleness and the vicissitudes of the nomadic life. In some of the works, I apply translucent fabric to convey a sense of nothingness, which has the meaning of eternity in some cultures—as in “nothing” lasts forever.
